1. IDEA data was obtained for 12 campus Fall24 and Spring25 courses (the three 3010 small-class sections were averaged into one course) and 14 online Fall24 courses for the objective of "gaining a basic understanding of the subject" and objective of "developing specific competencies and points of view needed in the field." Across campus and online courses, all but one instructor chose the first objective. For 92% (21/22) of the courses, results were in the Similar to Much Higher Range. For the second objective, 17 courses chose that objective. For 94% (16/17) of those courses, results were in the Similar to Much Higher range.
2. Alumni online survey were administered one year after graduation. The 2025 response rate was lower than last year with only 11 responses (less than 5% of graduating students). Alumni responses indicated satisfaction with UG preparation for their varied career or educational paths. Some comments addressed having guidance about possible career paths and how to prepare for them. One student requested access to ASL videos from earlier ASL courses while enrolled in later courses for review and practice.
3. Exit interview for SLP graduate students administered in the final semester of the master’s program. Results indicated no concerns for undergraduate program prep for grad program and readiness to start clinical training at the start of the graduate program.
4. Graduate faculty in three Speech and Hearing Sciences graduate professional programs found incoming USU student preparation to be satisfactory. Results indicated no concerns for undergraduate program prep for grad program.
5. Student, advisor, and instructor informal feedback indicated satisfaction with UG program.
