Below is the recommended sequence for SHS courses completed in 3 semesters. Courses are offered online during spring, summer and fall semesters. For the full 4-year, 120-credit online degree plan in the USU catalog, go to the course catalog.
Every semester, consult with your academic advisor to be assured you have the correct courses in the correct sequence and matched to your individual program of study.
- Degree-seeking students take a minimum of 14 SHS courses: 12 core courses and at least 2 Options courses
- SHS courses should be taken in the sequence listed
- Students may take more option courses based on their educational interests and career plans
- All required courses are typically taught online every semester
- Availability of option courses offered online vary by semester of availability
- To get your current textbook list go to the USU Bookstore
- All courses required for the SHS major within a student's Program of Study
- Taken for a letter grade
- Grade of C or higher in SHS-prefix courses
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
