Outcome Data

The first small cohort of students completed the SLPA Certificate in 2023-24. Program refinements were still in progress that year.

The first set of outcome data for students in 2024-25 showed 12 students completed or were enrolled in the SLPA Certificate as of Summer 2025. Across Fall, Spring, and Summer of 2025, 100% passed COMD 5960. Feedback from the students and supervisors was overwhelmingly positive. The instructor of record determined that site contracts need to be completed within 2 weeks of the semester start so complications could be resolved or students could withdraw in a timely manner.
