Open Faculty Positions

The Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services (CEHS) at Utah State University (USU) invites applications for three postdoctoral fellows with interest and expertise contributing to research, scholarship, and pedagogy focused on access and accessibility in STEM (broadly defined). The fellowships, supported by a National Science Foundation (NSF) institutional postdoctoral training grant, will provide 24-months of mentored training focused on enhancing access and accessibility to STEM across multiple disciplines. Critically, upon completion of the fellowship period with adequate performance, fellows will receive faculty offers to become tenure-track assistant professors within the college.

Seeking an Assistant Professor position, with expertise in educational and/or health disparities and autism. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in speech language pathology. In addition, the preferred candidate will have a strong background in quantitative methods and statistics, with the ability to teach courses in this area.

This hire is part of an institutional effort to address educational and health disparities in society. As such, this faculty member will work collaboratively with other newly hired and existing faculty members within the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services and other colleges to address these disparities through collaborative research, teaching, and service.

Seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor position in our Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) master’s and doctoral programs. The successful candidate will be one of four core MFT faculty members and will bring creativity to drive innovations in research, education, and clinical training. Clinical and research specializations within the MFT field are flexible and Family Studies experience is welcome.

Seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in school-based academic interventions for students on the autism spectrum and with related disabilities. The major emphasis area of the position will be research, and the successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent program of research that both sustains and elevates the department’s regional and national reputation.
