Adult Psychology Services

Adult services within the Psychology division in the Behavioral Health Clinic focus on evidence-based therapy services for adults of all ages experiencing a range of psychological problems. Assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, and general psychological functioning are also conducted. Services are provided by graduate students in the Psychology Department who work under supervision of doctoral-level, licensed psychologists.

A range of treatment approaches are used in addressing concerns including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. Individual therapy sessions are typically 45 minutes and occur once a week. 

Services Provided

Therapy services are provided to address the following:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Unhealthy eating
  • Adjustment issues 
  • Coping with stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties

Fee Information

For services provided by students (under supervision of licensed psychologists), fees are set on a sliding scale according to the client’s income and the number of persons living in the household. A fee arrangement will be made with the clinic manager before the intake session. 

Cancellation policy: Clients are required to give 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Failure to provide this notice will result in a charge.

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 am–8:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
Saturday–Sunday: CLOSED
