The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Research Center at Utah State University is housed within the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services. The Center supports research, services, and education in collaboration with many departments at USU and other entities across the state. The center focuses on:

  • Research (its primary mission)
  • Supportive services
  • Workforce training

The ADRC is committed to building a collaborative research infrastructure where individuals throughout the state of Utah can be involved and informed in dementia research, learn more about best practices in care, and find resources for emotional and practical support. The center engages with multiple institutions across the state and is guided by principles and needs outlined in Utah’s State Plan for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.

Making an Impact

Researchers at USU seek to gain a better understanding of Alzheimer’s disease to support individuals with dementia and help families care for their loved ones.
