Proposal Development Overview

The College proposal development staff works with administrators and faculty to enhance the research enterprise within the College and on campus by engaging in strategic planning, identifying and analyzing funding opportunities and supporting and encouraging the pursuit of external research funding at the department, college, university, and center levels.  The Proposal Development Specialist and Assistant provide direct support in the preparation of both internal and external grant proposals, including budget development, coordination of the involvement of multiple investigators and institutions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and university policies.

When we’re involved from the beginning we can provide the best support to produce a competitive proposal and facilitate smooth preparation and submission.

If you would like assistance with a specific proposal, please use the Proposal Assistance Request form to submit your request.  Links to some valuable resources for grant proposal preparation, training and funding opportunities may be found on the list below.
