Blue Goes Green Places New Drinking Fountain in the Education Building

July 14, 2016
Mimi Ferre's Blue Goes Green Grant goes toward a new drinking fountain.

There is a new drinking fountain in the Education Building! In February of 2016, Mimi Ferre, a member of the CEHS Student Council, applied for a grant through the Blue Goes Green Program to replace the drinking fountain in the South West hallway on the first floor of the Education Building. The Blue Goes Green Program on campus helps fund student lead projects to help make Utah State University an eco-friendlier, or green, campus. Through this program Mimi applied to get a grant to fund a new drinking fountain that included a water bottle filling station. With this grant and new fountain, she hopes to inspire others to apply for the Blue Goes Green grant money and make the campus a greener place!
