Google Drive storage area for your files. Think of it as a hard drive in the cloud (Google's storage online). You can save any file to your Google drive, and since it's stored online, you can access it anywhere you have internet access. You can also share folders and files with others.

Google Docs are files you can create online in Google Drive. You can create word processing documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations, drawings, and more. GMail accounts get 15GB of free storage. Student GMail accounts related to a school or educational organization have unlimited storage.
This a great source for students as well as teachers to use on any number of assignments and projects.
