Graduate Learning Objectives

The audiology doctoral program is a nationally-accredited program that prepares students to become certified audiologists. Students learn to evaluate, treat, and investigate hearing and balance disorders through educational, research, and clinical experiences for individuals throughout the lifespan.

Upon graduation, students will demonstrate:

  1. Knowledge and skills sufficient for entry level practice pertaining to hearing and balance assessment and hearing device services
  2. Competency in problem solving and critical thinking; spoken, visual, written, and digital communication; interpersonal skills and teamwork; professional and ethical behavior
