The purpose of the Rehabilitation Long Term Training Grants provided by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) is to provide financial assistance for academic training to qualified rehabilitation personnel, such as rehabilitation counselors, to improve their skills in serving individuals with disabilities and helping them achieve competitive employment. Here at Utah State, we presently have three RSA grants, with each having a specific target scholar to support. Please review the information carefully and apply for the scholarship you feel best fits your present need.

This RSA Long Term Training grant is designed to support individuals pursuing a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and who are presently working or have the desire to work in a State/Federal Vocational Rehabilitation setting. This is the “typical” RSA Training Grant that the USU MRC program has been successful in obtaining in the past. State VR Agencies, the Veterans VR system, and Community Rehabilitation Programs are ideal practice settings for scholars supported by this grant.
