Principal Preparation Programs

Administrative/Supervisory Concentration & M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership

The School Leadership Certificate includes coursework for the school leadership license and is designed for school personnel who already hold a master’s degree in an education discipline. The M.Ed. in School Leadership includes the SLC coursework for licensure and two additional curriculum and instruction courses and is designed for those who do not already hold a master’s degree in education. Both programs prepare potential school leaders for Utah’s Schools by providing training based on the Utah Education Leadership (UEL) standards of the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).
