School Leadership

The School Leadership program has two options:

1. MEd in School Leadership

The MEd in School Leadership prepares potential school leaders for Utah’s Schools by providing training based on the Utah Education Leadership (UEL) standards of the Utah State Board of Education (USBE), and the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC).

The Program combines coursework in leadership and management with specific training in curriculum and instruction to meet the demands placed on today’s education leaders. The program includes a focus on assessment at both the school and classroom levels and the effective use of data to drive decisions in schools.

The program requires internship experiences based on current USBE policies and includes clinical experiences to connect the learning activities in coursework with the day-to-day needs of modern school settings.
