The School of Teacher Education and Leadership (TEAL) is a unit of the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are strengthened by an on-campus elementary laboratory school and five stand-alone centers, as we prepare students for influential participation in local and global communities.

TEAL provides the highest number of graduates to become teachers in the state of Utah, with placement rates at or above 98% for licensed graduates seeking employment in special education, elementary education, and 18 secondary education fields. Our college is ranked #1 in the state of Utah by the U.S. News and World report and receives over $40 million annually in research funding to support teaching and clinical services.
