Biography

I am an assistant professor in the School of Teacher Education & Leadership.

Teaching Interests

I enjoy using active approaches to instruction that allow students to move within the classroom and collaborate with their classmates. In particular, I draw from Thinking Classroom principles (Liljedahl, 2020) to design my instruction.

Research Interests

I am interested in the social and affective features of learning mathematics. I study group work in mathematics, argumentation, and students' flourishing and wellbeing in mathematics.
