After WWII, the children of Berlin relied on the Chocolate Pilot to deliver candy from the sky. In postwar Germany, candy was a luxury that few German children would have enjoyed without his help. Learn how the Chocolate Pilot helped Mercedes in more ways than one, and inspired her to a better future.
