Prevent Alzheimer's for Life (PALS) Study

Dr. JoAnn Tschanz greeting participants of the PALS study.
The Prevent Alzheimer's for Life Study (PALS), investigated by JoAnn Tschanz, Ph.D., researches the impact of modifiable lifestyle factors on Alzheimer’s disease. With support from the USU Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Research Center (ADRC) and the Emma Eccles Jones foundation, Dr. Tschanz is committed to share information about Alzheimer’s disease prevention with the public.
The second floor of the USU Brain Health Fair will be dedicated to Alzheimer prevention and will include the opportunity to participate in the PALS research study (IRB #13703). All informational booths and study-related activities on the second floor will be available for community members to participate in regardless of enrollment in the study. Whether you're seeking healthy aging support for yourself or a loved one, the PALS study will provide research-based strategies to prevent Alzheimer's disease, encourage healthy lifestyles, and enhance overall well-being.
