This NSF-funded project is exploring how young children use mathematical knowledge when they code with tangible coding toys.

The project has 3 goals:

  1. To operationalize the integration of mathematics and computational thinking in early childhood.
  2. To develop curriculular resources and materials for classroom use.
  3. To develop a research-based assessment of these integrated components.
