Single Session Consultation Services

Single Session Consultation services are available to adults 18 years and older at no cost to residents of Idaho and Utah. Services are available in-person and via telehealth. A single session consultation is just what it sounds like – one session with a consultant who helps identify specific steps people can take toward a desired future. Single session consultations are based on solution-focused brief therapy and take the following approach

  • Focus on the present and immediate future
  • Targets a specific problem / desired outcome that you are interested in addressing
  • Empowers you to take small steps toward the desired outcome by focusing on solutions rather than problems.

Single session consultations are not for everyone and work best for people who have specific, identifiable goals they want to address.

Services are provided by licensed mental health professionals and graduate students in Psychology and Social Work under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.

This service is supported in part by a grant by Bear River Health Department.  There is no cost to clients.
