Biography
I am a PhD candidate in Educational Neuroscience. I received a BA in psychology at the University of West Florida. I work with Dr. Kerry Jordan in the Multisensory Cognition Lab, researching bilingualism and numerical cognition, in particular the effects of language of instruction on numerical system understanding. Other research interests include ethnomathematics, Mesoamerican languages and culture, and language brokering. Outside of school, I enjoy cross-stitch, snowboarding, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
