Program Admissions
Prerequisite Requirement:
- 2000-level or above statistics course
- Completed with a grade of B or above
A qualifying statistics course may be taken through USU or an accredited institution. Applicants may complete this course prior or after to submitting their application. There is a "Prerequisite Statement" supplemental item on the application. For this statement, please upload a word document outlining the status of this prerequisite. If already completed, please list the institution where it was completed, course number, title, and grade. Otherwise please state if you are currently enrolled in the course, or if you intend to complete the course upon conditional acceptance to the program. The applicant must have an official transcript sent from the institution where the course was completed that outlines the corresponding grade. If an applicant prefers, the graduate program coordinator will assist with enrolling in a qualifying course upon conditional acceptance to the program - this course is offered online and may be completed the first summer, fall or spring semester after the applicant accepts a spot in the School Counseling program.
