Program Admissions

Prerequisite Requirements with a B or higher:

  • Abnormal Psychology or Psychological Disorders (USU’s PSY 3210)
  • Analysis of Behavior (USU’s PSY 1400 & 1410)
  • Statistics course at or above the 2000-level
Courses can be taken through USU or an accredited institution but must be completed and posted to the applicant’s transcript by the application deadline. The applicant must have an official transcript sent from the institution where the course was completed. The transcript must show the completed course and corresponding grade. If an applicant prefers, USU offers the three prerequisite courses both on-campus and online.

Application Requirements

  • Application completed through the USU School of Graduate Studies
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges & universities with prerequisite courses posted
  • 3.2 GPA for the last 60 credits
  • Supplemental items include:
    • Letter of intent
    • Three letters of recommendation
    • Resume
    • 40th percentile or higher scores on the Miller Analogy Test (MAT) or 40th percentile on the quantitative and verbal sections of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).

We are currently accepting applications for students to be admitted to a statewide cohort. The program will begin Fall 2023. Applications and all supplemental items are due March 15, 2023.
