Elementary Education Scholarships
Application deadline for all scholarships is February 1, 2021.
Recipients must plan to attend the School of Teacher Education and Leadership Awards Program to acknowledge receipt of their scholarship. It is expected that all recipients write a Thank-you letter to the donor, a copy is to be attached to their acceptance letter and kept on file.

Alba Family Scholarship
Recipients of this scholarship will be awarded to diverse students studying in the field of teaching who demonstrate financial need witha minimum GPAof 3.0.Oral L. and Tacy C. Ballam Scholarship
Recipients of this scholarship shall be a graduate of a Cache County high school, achieved all requirements to qualify for senior class status, demonstrate the potential to become an outstanding career pre-school, elementary or middle school teacher, be a non-traditional or disadvantaged student, demonstrate financial need, and have no other scholarship support. Recipients of awards from this fund shall be known as Oral L. and Tacy C. Ballam Scholars.
Olga Berg Brown and Naomi Berg Christensen Teaching Excellence Scholarship
Preference will be given to returning single motherspursuing studies in the field of teaching and education. Award based on merit, with preference given to financial need, and minimum GPAof 3.0.Laurence and Florian Cazier Blackett
Established by Charles and Jonnie Blackett Bullen for a student who demonstrates financial need and personal integrity.Karen Marie Murdock Blair Scholarship
Recipients should be a junior or senior majoring in Elementary Education with a GPA of at least 3.3. Preference will be given to a student who shows evidence of involvement in community service and who have an interest in using theater arts or oral interpretation as a way of enhancing education in the classroom
