ACT Guide for Adolescents

What’s ACT Guide for Adolescents?

  • ACT Guide is an online mental health program designed by psychologists at Utah State University.
  • This version of our program is just for teens, and it provides support for issues like depression, anxiety, and stress. You’ll learn skills to help deal with negative feelings, be more present in your life, and discover new things about yourself.

How does it work?

  • The “ACT” in ACT Guide stands for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. It’s a way of improving your mental health that has been tested and used to help many people, including teens. People all over the world have used ACT to help them cope with and overcome their challenges.
  • ACT Guide is completely online, so you can use ACT Guide when you want and where you want. Most people complete one new lesson each week, so the whole program takesafew weeks, but you can personalize the program to your needs –it’s all about what works for you.
