Aphasia Book Club

This group focuses increasing communication and socialization for adults with aphasia or other neurogenic communication disorders through a structured book club activity.
This semester we are reading and discussing The Boy who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba. Book club is held Wednesday afternoons at 2:30 PM in the Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence. Book club is a free community service. Participants are encouraged to purchase their own book or audio book.

Join us for a 10-week open process group exploring your personal experience with chronic illness and/or disability (CID).

Psychoeducation and Support Group for Parents

Join us for a free 60-minute group for the community to learn and get support, with each night featuring a different professional from clinical psychology, applied behavior analysis, speech-language pathology, clinical rehabilitation counseling.

Social Language Group

This group focuses on increasing communication and socialization skills in children. Currently running a group for 9-12 year olds, Wednesday at 4:00 PM, cost $45 per session (insurance or sliding fee scale available). USU Speech and Language Clinic in the Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence.
