Bio
Dallas grew up in Brigham City, Utah and went on to graduate at the bachelor’s level from BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, ID. Dallas continued his collegiate studies and received a Master’s in Social Work from UNLV in Las Vegas, NV in 2009.
Dallas is bilingual and can serve both English and Spanish speaking clients. Dallas has worked with various populations over his career as he has worked previously in rural populations serving children up through elderly populations and all ages in between. Dallas has worked more recently with adolescents and adults in areas of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD and likes to help explore challenging maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that lead to complications in various areas of life.
Dallas’s clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Dallas believes in a strengths-based approach in seeing all his clients and meeting them where they are presently but with an eye on making positive changes over time. Dallas believes in forming a positive therapeutic relationship with clients and assisting them in their therapeutic journey.
