Laurie Smith

Laurie grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, and moved to Logan in 2016 to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology. She continued her education at Utah State University and recently graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW).

Laurie has worked with a wide range of populations, including Indigenous communities, individuals with disabilities, and patients in hospital settings. She is passionate about providing culturally responsive care and emphasizes the importance of cultural education in her work. Laurie enjoys learning about different people, their backgrounds, and their traditions.

She is especially interested in community wellness and advocacy work and is dedicated to fostering inclusive, respectful, and empowering therapeutic relationships.
