Bio

Fernanda Mejia-Kozlowski RDN, CD is a licensed registered dietitian and is certified in pediatric clinical nutrition. Fernanda completed her bachelor’s degree in clinical dietetics in Mexico, and then received her specialized certification as a pediatric clinical dietitian at the Hospital Infantil de Mexico Federico Gomez. After a special internship at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center where she worked in a childhood obesity clinic, she decided to complete a second bachelor’s degree at Utah State University so she could practice in the United States. Before moving to Utah, Fernanda worked at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Texas at their GI and nutrition clinic. She is passionate about helping patients and families improve their quality of life by supporting their nutritional needs. A specific aspect of her work that she enjoys is figuring out just the right personalized plan to accommodate each family’s unique situation and needs. Fernanda’s maternal language is Spanish, and in her free time she enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, running, playing tennis, and creating oil painting artwork!
