Bio

Jessie is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Nationally Certified School Counselor (NCSC). She is a faculty member and the director of the School Counseling Master of Education program in the Department of Psychology, as well as a Clinician with the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Center (CRCC) at the Sorenson Center and with the Family Institute of Northern Utah (FINU).

As a clinician with the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Center (CRCC), Jessie provides direct clinical services for persons with Chronic Illness, Disability, and Developmental Disability, specializing in providing services to children, adolescents, youth, and families. Additionally, Jessie provides secondary supervision for pre-license School Counseling graduate students. CRCC services within the Behavioral Health Clinic focus on evidence-based counseling services for adolescents and adults experiencing psychosocial and psychological issues related to chronic illness and disability. The CRCC strives to provide an environment that is safe and comfortable for persons of all ability levels and diverse backgrounds
