Bio

Debbie is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Clinical Assistant Professor. She graduated from Utah State with her Master’s Degree, and her BS from Brigham Young University. Her roles at the Sorensen Center include supervising and mentoring graduate students in the USU Speech-Language Clinic, collaboration in teaching the SLP Clinical course, and providing direct speech pathology services to clients.

Debbie enjoys collaboration with students, and other providers in the Sorensen Center as well as being a provider of clinical services for the community. Her areas of expertise are in the Medical Speech Pathology area including swallowing, voice, cognition, language, and motor speech.

Education and Training

  • MEd in Speech-Language pathology from Utah State University
  • BS in Communicative Disorders from Brigham Young University
