How to Declare a Major
- Completion of at least 24 semester credits (including HDFS 1500, HDFS 2000, HDFS 2400, and STAT 1040 or STAT 1045)
- Overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 (a cumulative 2.0 GPA is required for graduation as well)
- A grade of C or better is required in all major coursework including the pre-major courses listed above, and the respective required statistics courses.

Deadlines for graduation applications (date by which the application is due to your advisor):
- Graduating Spring – February 28
- Graduating Summer – July 15
- Graduating Fall – October 31
