Practicum

The Human Development and Family Studies Practicum provides students with opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in the delivery of services to clients and to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities through experience while being supervised by professionals. This valuable experience can serve as a practical method for preparing a student for a career in Human Development and Family Studies and/or graduate school. The student receives an opportunity to evaluate their own readiness for and interest in one or more of the areas of possible employment in this field.
