Last day of the Jump the Moon Creative Problem Solving Course!

We've reached the last week of the 2021-2022 school year! Aggies Elevated students are finishing their finals and getting prepared for the summer break. Our students have worked really hard to achieve their personal, academic and social goals for the school year and while we are sad to see them go, we can't wait for next year!
Students also participated in their last Creative Problem-Solving class with Jump the Moon Art Studio this past week. Their last activity was a "Wing Ding Contest", where students used various random household objects such as paper clips, toothpicks, and tape to create "Wing Dings", small figurines that stand six inches tall unsupported. The challenge was to creatively use the objects to create as many Wing Dings as possible in a short amount of time. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the class as a whole and talk more about how Aggies Elevated's feedback will benefit the class as they prepare to bring it to Utah State University.
The summer brings more exciting opportunities for Aggies Elevated students as they prepare for summer job opportunities. Each Aggies Elevated student will have a job this summer, working at places such as Aggie Ice Cream, the National Ability Center, Lee's Grocery Store, and many more locations. These job experiences will allow students to take the skills they have learned throughout the school year and apply them into a workplace setting.
We are excited for the coming year and the new opportunities it will bring. Have a wonderful summer Aggies Elevated students!
