Connections

Connections begins right after Base Camp and is designed to help freshmen students make a smooth transition to college life. The course is anchored by a common literature experience, in which all students read Becoming a Learner and prepare to discuss it. Aggies Elevated staff teach a "summer prep" class for incoming students to guide their reading and prepare for the Connections course.

Clubs and Events

Aggies Elevated students at both campuses are encouraged to attend Day on the Quad at the beginning of fall semester for an introduction to the many clubs and organizations that are available on campus. Joining a club based on one’s hobbies or interests is a great way to meet people and become involved in the campus community. Aggies Elevated students receive a valid Aggie Card (student ID), which offers them access to any campus events that are open to traditionally admitted students.

Institute

Aggies Elevated students are welcome to enroll in classes at the LDS Institute of Religion, which is located on the USU campus. Find information on class offerings and faculty at the USU Institute of Religion.

Dining Services

USU offers a variety of meal plans and dining options to students at both campuses, from full meals to quick snacks. Fast-food and other restaurants are located within walking distance, and the free bus system in Logan takes students to whatever cuisine they might be craving.
