Elementary & Early Childhood: Program Application
  • Start Your FBI/BCI Teacher Background Check
    • Sign up for a Livescan Fingerprinting with USU Police (Logan Campus)
    • Make an Account with USIMS (Utah State Board of Education)
    • Bring your CACTUS ID (found in personal information) to the Livescan Appointment
    • NOTE-Background checks can take up to 6 weeks to clear
  • Subscribe to the ELED/ECED Email Listserv
    • (Screenshot the confirmation email)
  • Upload the following documents & fill out the ELED/ECED Program Application
    • Screenshot of ELED/ECED Email Listserv confirmation
    • Screenshot of FBI/BCI Teacher Background Check Clearance Date in USIMS
  • Deadline for Spring Admission: October 10th
  • Deadlines for Fall Admission: March 18th & May 9th

Secondary Education (STEP): Program Application

  • Start the STEP Advisor Approval Form
  • Upload the following documents & fill out the STEP Application

  • Deadline for Spring Admission: October 1st
  • Deadlines for Fall Admission: March 1st
  • NOTE - STEP Applications are accepted year-round. However, they are not processed during Registration weeks, so it is important to get in your application as soon as possible.
