Biography
A nationally board-certified teacher, Laura taught for 25 years in the K-12 public school system before joining the faculty at Utah State University.
Teaching Interests
Laura specializes in differentiation, having taught in a three-room schoolhouse. She also has a keen interest in educating exceptional students having worked as the talented and gifted coordinator for a rural K-12 school district. She also specializes in social and emotional learning, she spent 4 years as a school-wide elementary child development specialist. While at the University Laura focuses on applying knowledge to practice in both Orientation to Elementary Education and Motivation and Classroom Management.
