Rosie Revere, Engineer
By Andrea Beauty | 2013
Synopsis
They say that pictures speak louder than words, and that's certainly true in Rosie Revere, Engineer. The story is perfect for a class read-aloud or silent reading, but students should take care to review the detailed illustrations thoroughly -- there are lots of surprises and additions to the story to be found there. Rosie is a second grader who loves engineering but hates when her inventions don't work. Her great-great Aunt Rose (nod to Rosie the Riveter) changes all that.
