Outcomes
The learning outcomes for all programs listed below are outlined in our 2025 accreditation report. Site visit will occur February 2026, with accreditation decision in Summer 2026. 

Assessment Planning
The program learning outcomes are addressed throughout the program in various classes, as summarized by this curriculum matrix for all elementary and early childhood programs and this curriculum matrix for secondary teacher education programs. 

Data Collection
The implementation cycle of our program assessments is described fully in our accreditation self-report. The cycle includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Every student is assessed using the student teaching evaluation rubric and disposititions assessment at the end of their student teaching experience. This assessment serves as the culminating summative assessment of all program learning objectives. 
• Indirect assessment of program learning outcomes is assessed through an annual survey of alumni and employers of alumni. The results are summarized in the annual reports linked below.

Annual Feedback on Assessment
The program directors for elementary and secondary education met with Sylvia Read in November 2025 to review the feedback from the ODA office. Based on that feedback, we have updated this assessment information page to include curriculum matrices that show how coursework is aligned with learning outcomes, the most recent accreditation report from 2024, the most recent annual report (2025), and an updated document that summarizes how we have used our assessment data to improve the program.
