As the daughter of an immigrant, I have always been fascinated with language and its fundamental role in bridging cultures. For most of my life, I’ve struggled to communicate with my relatives living in Germany. Through my experience, however, I’ve gained greater appreciation for how meaningful language is. The idea of helping individuals improve their ability to communicate with their loved ones thrills me and is my reason for pursuing this degree.
