Madison Treasure-Areno

Biography

Hi, my name is Madison Treasure-Areno, and I am a graduate student in the Brain & Cognition PhD program at Utah State University. I work with Dr. Mona Buhusi, pursuing my research interest of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s Disease. I am interested in the role of glial cells on disease progression. I received my BS in Psychology from Utah State University while gaining experience in the Buhusi neuroscience laboratory. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching scary movies, baking, and taking my dog for walks
