Biography

Anjanette Todd is an Assistant Professor in the M.Ed. School Counseling program within the Department of Psychology at Utah State University. Dr. Todd earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida and received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of Florida. She served as a school counselor for 13 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels supporting all students in the areas of academic, career and social/emotional development. Prior to starting at USU in 2024, she worked as an Assistant Professor of School Counseling at the University of Texas at El Paso. Her research interests surround school counselor self-care, the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness. She is a member of the American School Counseling Association, Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, Rocky Mountain Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, Lone Star State Counseling Association.
