Ellie Azamian Jazi
Graduate Student - School Psychology Specialization

Biography
I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program at Utah State University, working under the supervision of Dr. Erik Reinbergs in the Suicidology Lab. My research interests focus on understanding the dynamic nature of suicidal ideation and attempts among youth, particularly through the lens of interpersonal relationships, with the goal of translating empirical findings into actionable prevention and intervention strategies. Prior to joining USU, I earned a master’s degree in Psychological Science from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Iran University of Medical Sciences. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, Felfel (which means “Pepper” in Persian!), watching movies, cooking, and socializing with friends.
