Kukuli Delgado
Graduate Student - Combined Clinical/Counseling

Biography
I am first-generation U.S. Latina who is a doctoral student under the guidance of Dr. Melanie Domenech-Rodriguez. I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Chicana/o Studies at UCLA. Previous to joining the Culture and Mental Health Lab, I was clinical research coordinator at the San Francisco Veteran Affairs Medical Center working on a mixed-methods research study and pilot clinical trial examining PTSD. Broadly, my research interests are cultural adaptations, family interventions, Latine/x populations, and immigration trauma. I aim to contribute to the reduction of mental health disparities through my research, community-based work, and mentorship of underrepresented students seeking higher education.
