Matias Avellaneda
Graduate Student - Behavior Analysis Specialization

Biography
I am a PhD student in the Behavior Analysis program under the advisement of Dr. Tim Shahan. My work centers on decision making, specifically the quantitative analysis of choice in concurrent schedules of reinforcement. Over the past few years, I have been developing a mathematical model of the mechanisms underlying the decision to switch from one activity to another. When I’m not working, I enjoy obsessing over math, chess, and World of Warcraft (Classic, of course).
