Sociobehavioral Epidemiology

Students who successfully complete the program will acquire in-depth knowledge and technical skills in Sociobehavioral Epidemiology and psychological science more generally. The program is designed to produce experts in research; that is, someone who is capable of contributing to the knowledge base in the field.

The program is a full-time graduate program. Students entering with a baccalaureate degree are
expected to complete the Ph.D. within 5 years. Students entering with a Master’s degree are expected to complete the Ph.D. within 4 years. Failure to make appropriate progress toward completing the program within these timelines can result in dismissal from the program.
