Biography

I am a doctoral student in the Disability Disciplines — Pathokinesiology Program. I received an undergraduate degree in philosophy and sociology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. I also received my master's degree in philosophy from Oklahoma State University. My research interests are in the history and philosophy of sport, specifically looking at theories of sport which concern ethical, metaphysical, and aesthetic questions concerning sports and games. I am a teaching assistant for Dr. Lopez-Frias's History and Philosophy of Physical Activity and Sport class. My philosophical interests are not confined to just sports, I am also interested in epistemology, language, and art. In my free time I read, watch sports, travel, and hike.
