Biography
My name is Dan Westwood, and I teach scuba diving courses.
I began my scuba journey in 2011, and what started as a simple interest quickly became a lifelong passion. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of breathing underwater and exploring the vibrant, hidden world beneath the surface — and I want everyone to experience it.
That passion continues to drive me today. I’m excited to share it with the students at USU through professional certifications and unforgettable international dive trips.
Scuba diving offers incredible benefits — not only for physical health, but especially for mental well-being. Research shows its therapeutic effects can be truly life-changing.
Beyond diving, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and have owned and operated my own companies for over 25 years. My wife and I have three children and seven wonderful grandchildren, and we currently reside in Toquerville.
Our company, Access Scuba, has two convenient locations — at both ends of the state — making it easier than ever to start your underwater adventure.
We’d love for you to join us and discover the magic for yourself. Come dive in and let us share our passion with you!
