Biography

I am a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at University of Utah. My degrees include Ph.D. in Sports Education, M.S. in Exercise Physiology, and M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics obtained at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), as well as B.S. in Physical Education obtained at Utah State University. I am an American Statistical Association (ASA) Accredited Professional Statistician® (PStat®). My research focuses on sports/exercise epidemiology and sports analytics. I serve as a statistician to help other researchers. I have organized and taught courses in research methods and biostatistics for undergraduates, medical residents, and medical fellows, while providing statistical support to them. Prior to joining University of Utah, I was a faculty member at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA). I am excited to work for the Master of Public Health program in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Science at Utah State University.
