Steve Smith

Biography

I graduated in 2002 from USU with a degree in Marketing. I started teaching the fly fishing classes in 2002 while running Rivers Wild, our families fly fishing business. In 2018 I became the owner of Rivers Wild after having helped my dad run the business for close to 30 years. The USU classes I teach are the fly rod building, fly tying and fly-casting classes. I enjoy working with students to help the learn this trade and often helping them in tying their first fly and catching their first fish on a fly.
