Daniel Porter

Biography

I am a graduate assistant for Dr. Pynn’s KIN 4000 – Mental Aspects of Sports Performance. Although I grew up in Boise, ID, I’ve lived in Logan for the past ten years, during which time I picked up a bachelor’s in History and a master’s in Ancient Languages and Cultures. I specialized in ancient Greek and Roman combat sports and warfare, and am now pursuing a second master’s in Kinesiology to become a better researcher and to more fully understand the body’s relationship to exercise. In addition to these reasons, I am passionate about movement, which has developed into a passion for helping others in their goals.
