Erik Petersen

Biography

Hi! I'm Erik and I was born here in Logan. I am in my fourth year at USU, studying Japanese and Educational Technology. Anything with a competitive nature is fascinating to me, so most of my thoughts and hobbies stem from that idea of always wanting to improve at something. I especially love analyzing games and diving into the mental aspect of everything. My favorite sport is badminton; other competitive interests I've had include speedcubing, Esports, and the ancient game of Go. I teach the badminton classes right now, as I'd taken it as a student so many times, I guess they didn't know what to do with me anymore. Playing casual matches with my students will remain one of my favorite ways to spend time at USU.
